People who have seen our past month of shows have been privileged to see Simone TB relieving Cold Hands Clarke on drums, who, for dramatically secret personal reasons, couldn't join us for the western leg. TB is in a bunch of rad bands including el V gore and one of my favorite acts, Tropics. All I'm saying is check our her jams because she's the best. They have a 7" coming out on We Are Busy Bodies and also an LP coming out not soon enough but you gotta wait.

Did you ever see Exploding Motor Car Collective's work? "Rad" does not even begin to describe how good these guys have been to work with on the music video we're making, but a long conversation with a friend from vancouver has left me with no other word to use to express how impressed I really am. dude. Competent? More than that. Good humored? Yes. Calm during a rave? Really. Peaceful, loving united and respectful? PLUR. I've hyperlinked this entire post so you can go look at the videos they make even if you aren't good at precision mouse work. They'll be making our video.

LAND OF DESTINY

On May 10, our friend and collaborator Brett Story will be screening a documentary about the petrochemical industry in Sarnia, and its effects on the health of residents there. A good doc about the sickening world.





The film is being shown as part of the Mayworks festival, and runs from 7-10 pm at The Toronto Free Gallery,1277 Bloor Street West. We wrote some music for the film. It's happening at the same time as the Soundscapes in-store, but big deal because you can just come to our show on May 13.
